Droid 2 ROM for Droid 1 (A855)

Has there been a ROM ripped from the Droid 2 yet? Is it possible for the Droid 2 to run on the Droid 1?

No one's really done that, since usually, most people don't like blur, myself included. D1 has many better options overall for roms aswell, try cyanogen or Pete's GPA roms.
At any rate...
Why would you want slow, memory wasting Blur on a D1?
It absolutely ruins phones, and I mean ruins. My D2G, out of the box,
already had poor performance just due to blur.
And at any rate, it would take up too much ram space to run (about 200mb is reserved for blur, the D1 only has 256mb of ram)
Do excuse me for being harsh, but Blur simply is that bad

have you tried cyanogenmod 7? there's a link in my signature (cm7)

there's this theme chooser thingie which allows you to easily switch between themes. just install the theme the same way you would an app and then choose it using the theme changer app.

here you'll find a motoblur theme. so it'll look like blur but won't make your phone suck. that's called the best of both worlds.
