Tablet style OG Droid Rom?

I'm going to be upgrading my phone this month but I don't want to retire my D1 yet. Is their a rom that has all the same features as an android but no phone option (like a tablet)?

Just set it to airplane mode.

That kinda defeats the whole purpose. Getting rid of the phone features would help cut back on space. And the phone will pretty much be on wifi mode.

So you want to remove the phone app? I've heard you rename the phone.apk file to phone.apk.bak, BUT MAKE A BACKUP, THE PHONE COULD START FORCE CLOSING AND YOUR PHONE WOULD BE UNUSABLE!!!
