Unexplained sync n FC issues today

I've been running Liquids Gingerbread roms for a while now and today about 4 o'clock pm. Everything started force closing today keyboard,g a p p s, gmail. I reinstalled the roms twice with the same issue even after wiping. I tried Steel Droid 6.3 rom and also got the same issue. I did a battery pull no fix. The contacts and calendar only synced about half of my stuff. I waited a half hour and reinstalled Liquid Gingerbread 1.7 and now everything seems to be working fine.

Does anyone have any ideas what might have been going on?
