Muggy he is looking for Droid not X roms.
I tried Sourcery, didn't like it, seemed to waste a lot more battery life than Ultimate. Previously I had Sapphire. Great rom, not that many features though, but it had the best battery life. I am using Ultimate Droid on 2.5 Froyo, its... ok. The best option, but it isn't exactly perfect. Its built on Cyanogen, and Sourcery is built on Ultimate. So I like the features of those phones, but I don't like it enough to consider it perfect. Kernels cause better battery life and whatnot more than any other feature, I used P3droid's stuff before, now I am trying Prime's kernels. http://www.droidforums.net/forum/cya...f-you-can.html
    Its nice.

Liberty ROM is the best in my opinion. Liberty 2.0.1 on froyo, also are in the works for Liberty Gingerbread.

Well, that turned out well. I just ruined my phone doing that stupid crap. Despite spending hours backing everything up and following all the meticulous (and maddening) instructions, the ROM did not install but everything I had on my phone is erased and cannot be restored, despite all my attempts using ROM Manager/ClockworkMod Recovery.

Not good. I didn't have much success with ROM manager. I use bootstrapper and backup manually.

Did you make a backup in clockworkmod recovery?

Yes but it did not restore the backup; it only gave '21' error. Thank God I had previously made a full backup with Titanium that seemed to restore my apps and other data, though all my screens are still wiped.

Not that I have been able to find. Although, if y'all hear anything about this, we need an epic OG Droid post!
