About LinkBacksSo, I've tried multiple ROMs and searched the forums, but have not found a decent answer to this.
Can someone recommend a good ROM for a DROID 1?
I've tried Sorcery(current), BB, and a couple others, but have not been overly impressed with battery life. Sorcery seems to be really slow on top of everything else, even when over-clocked.
My wife's stock Droid seems to have quite a bit better battery life than mine. I've tried under-clocking, removing all widgets and such, but they seem duct tape fixes.
So, what would this esteemed group recommend for a good ROM? I don't need lots of bells and whistles, since I don't tweak much.

04-12-2011 10:57 AMI'm using project elite 4.2. I'm a heavy user of data and games and run about 12-18 hours on a charge. My battery is also almost two years old. On pe 5.0.2 I got less battery life but its also a GB ROM. PE is very fast and pretty smooth for me.

04-12-2011 03:23 PMTry out liquid gingerbread 1.52. You will be pleasently surprised. And btw don't expect great battery life with any gingerbread rom.

04-12-2011 03:52 PMThis. CM7 Final should be released in the next few days... if you don't mind sitting tight for that, its worth it. But CM7 RC4 is very stable and excellent. Primes kernel basically doubles the smoothness and snappiness. Highly recommend trying this out.
