No rom runs smooth on my OG Droid

Using RZ recovery I always manually wipe each option. Using the wipe all function never seemed to work for me. I would get boot loops and what not.

the latest SS rom from chevy does really well. Also Steel Droids latest rom is running pretty fast on my phone.

Try and wipe it manually and try those. Steel Droids last Froyo 2.2 Froyo rom was crazy fast for me.

Well I have the same problem with my Droid. I got a new battery but its still dies so fast every time I use cyanogen mod. I was thinking about using liberty rom but idk what to do.

Are you still running stock kernel/clock speed? I could see your processor getting bogged down. Then again, if apps are messing up it could be lots of stuff.

I did overclock it with chevy kernel but it doesn't do it now that I'm using bugless beast. I like cyanogen mod but it kills my battery fast. And it gets really hot on cyanogen too.

You need to list everything you are doing on the particular ROM installed, kernal, speeds setup etc.

Just saying you tried a ROM really leaves a lot of information in the dark for the rest of us.

However that said, install bugless and stay with the kernal it came with to begin with ...

@RW-1 - I dont do anything thats the problem. I install any rom with any kernel, and the phone is just laggy.

And BB dosent boot on my droid. Just tried it.

Try P3Droid's stock Froyo Rom over at MDW... its as stock as it gets.. and id that wont work your phone might need its final rest.
