    Yes - using MetickMod Frg83G untouched, this is not an issue.

    The problem was that when I flashed the theme, Davros included mms.apk in there with the black skin, but it was the old version of the messaging app.

    What I actually did was flash the gingerbread theme, but then replace mms.apk using root explorer with the new version. It's not themed black, but the bug is gone

    Ok, dumb question, what directory does vzw drop their ota into on our Droids? I've seen this answered before but cannot find it lately. I want to clean house. Thanks :-)

    Oh that's cool, I didn't know there was a newer version of that mms.apk.

    Ummm, well I thought not... I thought the OTA was dumped into a special directory somewhere other than on the SD card.

    Hey Meti, any idea on how i can get the wycontacts/phone apk built into FRG83G ? I still love this stock froyo rom/stability and the love the functionality and privacy those packages provide. I've tried to pull it from the cyan's 6.1.2 but its a no go. An installable zip would be awesome. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Edit: would also love the mail apk also.
