thats what the sbf is for. Flashing that sbf from rsd lite will return you to unrooted, stock 2.2.1

Before we go any further, how charged was your battery before you started flashing? If it was less than 70% then that's the problem right there.

What errors are you getting with the failed installs of RSD Lite? Also, make sure you're downloading 4.6, 4.7, 4.8, or 4.9.

    Found one combo that worked

I was able to instal simply stunning with a medium voltage 800mhz kernal and thats the first combination ever that didn't freeze.

I really wanted a low voltage kernal because I really need to save battery life but this combo is actually running just as well as the stock OS and Droid Mod which was the ROM i was running after I rooted.

I think I made a mistake rooting my phone. I'd like to completely start from scratch and just wipe my phone and start over. I'd use one of those auto roots I did it about a year ago manually.

Your phone doesn't like Low-Voltage kernels. That's a major sticker right there. My refurb replacement doesn't like them either, but at least it didn't bootloop me.

We'll do what we can to help if you want/need more.

    Uhp I spoke too soon.

The medium voltage kernal ran great for over an hour then I put the phone down and came back 20 minutes later and now it was frozen. Pulled the battery and now it just freezes within 30 seconds of booting.

    What is the deal?

What would cause it to stop working after it worked for over an hour?

I really appreciate all the help this is so frustrating!

I checked the overclock in the setting

i checked overclock in the setting but the set CPU is set to 500mhz

but the whole time it was working overclock was checked.

It was working great like the stock ROM then out of nowhere stopped working.

Which version of simply stunning are you running? If it is ss5 then it is gingerbread based. As good as GB based roms run for some people, they run terrible for others. Try a froyo based rom with a mv kernel. I highly recommend project elite 4.2 for a highly stable, superb performing rom. Only problem you might run into is that it comes packaged with a slayher 1100lv kernel which your phone might not agree with. Try pe4.2 out with a 800mhz kernel and let us know how it goes.
