    New to rooting, Hello :D

Hey guys, I'm new to rooting and would like to get some advice on what is a good one to get as a beginner?

I would like to start with simple things like overclocking.

    Thanks

I am going to say you have ClockworkMod Recovery installed. Are you looking for a rom with a lot of features or one thats bare?

Some roms that have a lot of features are:
Cyanogenmod 7 (link is in my sig)
    Project Elite 5.0.1
    Ultimate Droid 3.0.1
    Liquid 1.3

Cyanogenmod is kind of like the "base" for most other roms because without cyanogenmod most of the features in these roms wouldn't be there.

I guess a rom with a lot of features because I do not know how to use my phone to it's full potential.

I am also a new rooter. I got overall clock and tied to instal or dl cyanogenmod and almost bricked my phone. Had to reboot(x+power) and restore. That was ofcourse after a brief panic. Would like to try again but don't know what I did wrong. Any ideas?
