    [rom]

    UPDATED 3-1-2011
    currently working on something cool, a rom thats cm based but customized by me.
    since ill be working by my self it wont be nightly type builds but a release build.
    i have a few idea's like

    1 "hot reboot" instead of "reboot bootloader"
    2 adding scripts and stuff to cm settings
    3 if switching over to ext for /data and /cache is possible then that too.
    4 performance tweaks
    5 & anything suggested.

    Stupd question. Do I install the gapps as an update.zip in SPRecovery after the rom update.zip. Or can I install without using SPRecovery?

    yes flash the gingerbread rom then flash gapps

    Does the browser still crash in this build with the google home page? And does it 3G after phone calls?

    yes the browser force closes but im not sure about the 3g after phone call... i never use the phone, sorry.

    could some of the problems be due to the missing files when trying to compile?

    when i try to copy the proprietary files off my phone (running cm6) i get two errors. if you found these files could you let me know where so I can compile my own version?

    remote object '/system/lib/libzxing.so' does not exist
    remote object '/system/lib/libinterstitial.so' does not exist

    I can't find gmail after running gapps. Is it supposed to be there or do I download it from the market?

    I just installed gmail from the market and it was 2.3.2.

    Now to get the camera working...
