    Pretty much same thing... I'll have to reenter everything etc... I'll do it tomorrow or something...

    I'm quite pleased with how smooth the phone is running now since wiping cache and data... Not doubting the root, nor the rom, etc. i'm just sure that's where most of the increase in performance has come from at this point.

    To execute scripts/code you need to run it through the terminal emulator app by jack palevich in the market. I believe that is how he is telling you to clear dalvik cache. Also some roms have custom scripts that allow you to do certain rom specific things.

    Pretty much. Speeds things up in any ROM so you can see if it's the ROM or just the wipes making your phone snappier.
