    Q about flashing custom kernels

I was wondering if in everyones practices, do u flash kernels one right after the otheror do u go back to a fresh nandroid back up before proceeding? I have a fresh version of M1 stock, and flashed a Chevy Kernel. Not getting the right results, so gonna flash a slayher kernel next. Just looking for a little input.

    Also, any new kernel recommendations?

    I do the following:

Install the rom and make a backup.

    Install a kernel or theme.

If I want to install a new kernel I restore the backup then install the new kernel.

I always keep a fresh solid backup available. It can save you hours of work and frustration.

I also do the same. Install ROM, making sure its stable, then make a backup.

Flash theme, if its stable afterwards and I'm sure I'll keep it, I make a backup.

    Then I do my kernel.
