About LinkBacksWhy has no one compiled a gingerbread kernel for the droid. It should fix many hardware issues that can not be solved by the developers who do not write kernels, There are lots of kernel developers, can one of you begin a build on the gingerbread kernel for th droid, it should fix most issues. I think?

12-21-2010 10:09 AMYea ive been contemplating building my own kernel also but just havent had the time in between work and school. I figured it cant be too much different than building a linux kernel which I have done successfully many times (and unsuccessfully many more times! lol).
