The themed launcherpro for revolution won't install. It says it will write over, but ends saying not installed. Do i need to uninstall my existing launchderpro in order to install the themed one?

I was wondering if I could install and dL only the theme,#3 NexTheme-metiCKMod.zip on rooted droid 1 phone? I have rooted frg83d stock right now. I have not downloaded any roms yet. Could I do this seperatly or do I have to dL the rom to have this theme work? What would the steps be with out messing my phone up?
I found this theme in the collection by Benny879 Theme #3 Nextheme by Manup456
post 680 under custom roms metiCKOne.
Any help would be appreciated

I assume you have flashed a custom recovery already?

Yea, that's taken care of with cwmr from rom mngr.

Well make sure you do a backup first. You will need to flash the actual metickmod frg83D first then the theme after.

Ya you at least need a deodexed frg83d rom for these themes metiCkMOD would work for all your needs and desires.

Would these themes be compatible with other rom's, just in case I decide on a differant rom from rom mngr?

After backup ,would I do a wipe data, cache? Also what about my existing apps ,will I lose them?

Maybe I don't know what a deodexed frg83d is then. Little help please because I thought since I'm already running frg83d that I wouldn't need another FL version
