OK, so I flashed this ROM. Everything works except no gapps obviously. but the browser seems to work perfect. at first it wouldn't load pages on 3g but I just connected to wifi and it worked. then I turned wifi off and I can now load pages on 3g.
I'm going to try and push the gapps through adb and see how it works.

I noticed this too, maybe this is a nexus s thing? I don't see it in the source anywhere as far as I can tell

Nexus S has this. Just tried one out.

Yeah honestly I dont think I'm going to put out source roms. I'm going to learn but it seems kinda stupid to put out a rom that other people already have out lol.

Trying this out want to see how much faster it is, can't wait for someone to get a fully functioning rom overclock it probably make og droid feel like a different device

I flashed over ud 2.5 without wiping and all is good except for browser and etc that was stated but i really like what google did with the ui very nice the curser that you drag to type is awesome allows much more accurate editing/typing. It also is a lot faster like going into manage apps used to take a min or two to load and its almost instant now I cannot wait to have kinks worked out its awesome

I'm really amazed at how well this runs despite the fact that I could never actually use it as a daily-use rom (after playing with this for a while i'm probably going back to cm with a gingerbread theme until cm 7 comes out). Based on this, Motorola would be stupid to not give us OG Droid users an official version of 2.3. I'm probably not going to be able to work on this very much to get it up to a completely usable status because I'm extremely busy with my job but i can help anyone having trouble getting the source to build though.

Where can I get the source from?? Or can I work with you on this??
