    Gingerbread!!

    I saw it with my own eyes as it was received.... my neighbors droid x just recieved an 2.3 update alert! I She installed while I watched in anxious anticipation.

    Oops.. it wasn't gingerbread, it was the 2.3.340 system update. She is still 2.2.1..... :-(

    I don't think its gingerbread. The droid x build right now is 2.3.xxx.x.x.x.x.x blah blah blah. Sorry to burst your bubble!

    Correct. Its 2.3.340 which is Froyo. Her version will be 2.2.1
