Hey Bassman. I know you and I went over this a little bit yesterday but so everyone can help can you tell us a few things.
What Kernel?
What rom (I have about 7 atm)
Flash any Themes?
Any addons?
Try resetting the modem?
What's the exact error message you're getting?
What steps have you already taken to fix this?
Just some basic stuff. I know I already asked you but I just want it out there for everyone else who's new to the issue.

I'm using LFY 1.9 with a Slayher kernel, and a WRT54G v2.1 router. The ONLY way I can connect to wifi is:
a) broadcast SSID
AND
b) use a static IP address on my Droid
DHCP mode NEVER gives me an IP, and if I hide the SSID; 9/10 times my phone cannot find my router, it simply tells me it's not in range.

New kernel is on it's way to metiCkMod.

Bassman....did the new kernel do the trick?
What kind of a router wireless connection do you have?
I just ran into an issue connecting to my N router...it would take forever to get an IP and then drop the connection randomly. I attached my droid to my WRT54G router and my connection issues went away.
