As usual, thanks LOTS for taking the time to make these available. Clean and stocky, this is always my favorite rooted way to go.
I bet your ROMs are great too, if I ever venture that way again I'll be trying yours first.
(Droid1 running M1's FRG83D Odexed, Chevy's 2.6.32-medV-1.25GHz, C_01.43.01P, ADW -- it's all good )

Thank you guys SO much for your willingness to help me. I'm talking to furbearingmammal on pm and he's generously talking me though it but I'll definitely be back on with an update.
RodNoc_eR, Nothing like that.
I need help problem solving a USB/Music Player issue.
I'm posting this here because I have FRG83D-Deodexed-m1 installed, WHICH I DON'T BELIEVE IS THE PROBLEM.
Explanation of Problem
When I disconnect Droid 1 from the computer (the correct way) a multitude issues arise. Lags bad, FC, Won't Shutdown, Restarts, etc. After multiple battery pulls the phone starts working again, like nothing happened.
Same thing happens if I use the Stock Music Player. Plus, it’s not recognizing some music files.
Things I've Done
1. Root First time, after the Verizon OTA update to 2.2, using SPrecovery, SetCPU - OC 1Ghz, Stock kernal "I think".
2. Formatted SDCard
3. Wiped and cache Partition
4. Flashed back using RSDLite to voles-userdebug 2.1-update1 ESE53 25914 test-keys (problem stopped)
5. Root second time, Flashed Clockwork Mod using ROM Manager. Wiped, installed FRG83D-Deodexed-m1 from within recovery mode. Nothing else is installed.
I know this
I have no problems with 2.1 update1 installed.

Hmmm, ok, so you've tested that too.
What state is your USB port in -- ie: is USB debugging on or is the stay-awake mode on? If either, have you tried turning those off (or turning them on if they're already off).
My son has a newer Droid1 than mine and the USB debugging setting has to be on for him to have natural operations. It seems there is some hardware variation with the USB port depending on the build date.
That said, I've not seen or heard of the particular anomaly you're experiencing with Music Player under FRG22D or FRG83D. That's why I was thinking more hardware than software.
I know on my Droid if I'm overclocked (1.25GHz) and doing a lot of file I/O with the SDCard I'll get random glitches including boot anomalies, yet my son's Droid doesn't have that kind of problem. Are you running overclocked?
