New Unlimited Plan from Big Red?

Just got em to hook me up the second time I called. Tried once on Monday, then after scouring the forums again, worked up the nerve to try again and got lucky!

Keep trying. I was getting the same ****. The last call, they looked it up and said they didnt send anything to me but they can put me on if i would like. So I guess thats how it works if you call enough times depending who you get.

Hot Dang, I got it on the second try.

The first girl I talked to this morning said if I didn't get the email, she couldn't give me the promo.

I called back after lunch and the rep ask if I got the email and I said no, a friend told me about it. She said she would check my account and see what she could do. She checked my account and said she would be glad to help me out. What a gal!!!!

I was nice to both reps and they were very helpful, especially the second one.

The moral of the story is: Be nice and don't give up on the first try.

Well I just tried and the rep told me that I wasn't eligible. I guess I will have to keep trying as this plan will save me $40.00 a month.

FYI. Got my first bill since the change. My billing period ended Nov 7th and I changed to the new plan on Nov 8th (according to them). However the bill was wrong charging me the full $30 for all 4 phones for the previous month.

I called in and they credited back the $80 and offered to call me on Dec 6th to check the plan was working properly. They also told me that I got this discount until 2038

This is all nice and stuff, but why do they need to test this? Just roll it out to everyone or don't do it at all. Seems to be working with Sprint.

Wow. Got through the first time and got set up. I was already at $139 for two Droid1s on the family plan with data and text so the price doesn't change but I doubled the minutes, got unlimited text, and added the 10 friends and family. The last part is good since several of my kids are on ATT for the iPhone. They'll learn one of these days. Thanks to you guys here and the forum for all of the good info.

If I'm new and about to sign up for verizon, do they have this on the site or do i have to call after i set mine up on the first plan i get?
