    As far as I know, the droid x will not do 4G. Also as far as I know, 4G phones will require a sim card.

    According to our Verizon rep, yes. This is also good news!
    According to what Verizon CTO stated in the article no it will not at first because they don't have a voice option yet for 4G it will just be data so when you use voice it'll switch over to 3G or 1X. 2011 was when I guess they would have a voice capability over 4G.

    On the phone side I keep reading articles about November and I just read one about a possible new Droid in nov. with the New gingerbread OS on it so. Maybe a coincidence? or maybe it isnt a there will be a 4G droid in November? I like to keep High hopes!

    When I find the articles I will provide them just not sure where I found them.

    I can't wait for 4g, but I hope Verizon continues to expand their 3g coverage in my area. AT&T still has the best coverage around my area.
