@: maddroidtx: I am an iphone user, (not for long)after playing with the Droid across the US at 1 of the VZN stores in the Mall on your Thankgiving,in 10 mins, it convinced me that my iphone 3g is so lacking in features than the Droid.There are so many things that the Droid can do that my iphone can only dream of and I realized that my iphone is an ipod with a phone, that can play lots of games.Also I compared my 3g with my friend's 3gs the only difference is faster in speed that's about.The iphone is yesterday's technology and it's apple's mentality, it's an apple, take it or leave it? Just you know,why does the long time designer for Facebook quitted recently? apple control thing comes to mind.
Take for instance, where in the world you can't even change the battery in a CELLPHONE? again is an apple thing,control what you owned. I can say, we iphone users been brain-washed or control including most of the critics (freelance writer) still think that iphone is the best and no other phones are better,peroid!.
If the table would have been turned the other around the iphone would have been a laughing stock, the critics of now would have a field day criticing it, like it did Driod or any new devices that comes on the market that are not an iphone I that read. (sometime I wonder if these critics been paid under the table by apple to write)
I would like to know what has apple done to improve on the iphone for the last 3 yrs beside adding more apps? I have still have an iphone and I think it is a good ipod.
My personally opinion after playing with the Droid? Technology has catches up with apple and getting better.A lot better I might add.The simple thing as the screen for start and multitasking,..................the rest I suggested come out of your shell with an opened mind, like I did and give it a try,judge for yourselves I promised, it don't bite. And still you can go back to your iphones and still be safe.lol'
I cannot wait for the Milestone aka Droid to launch in canada in early 2010.
Also I can finally sell my iphone 3g and be free from the control of apple.

This is good because the iPhone has finally gotten some competition, we can bicker between fanboys til we're blue in the face, but what this really means is we'll be seeing things like AT&T making their service better, the iPhone incorporating things that make Droid good, the Droid incorporating things that make iPhone good.

Honestly we should all be united, but unfortunately humanity is pretty retarded so we'll just be seeing flame wars between the two phones. lol
