Verizon HTC One Max Now Available for $299.99 On New Contract

It looks like that leaked price for the HTC One Max on Verizon was correct. Verizon just this morning officially announced the device for $299.99 on a new two-year contract. Alternatively you could get the device on Verizon Edge for $25.22 per month, or purchase it outright for $599.99. Here's a recap of specs followed by a Verizon link to check out this offer:
    • 5.9-inch display is outfitted with 1080p resolution
    • 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor
    • 2GB of RAM
    • 32GB of internal storage
    • 3,300 mAh battery
    • Android 4.3 (with HTC Sense 5.5)
    • Fingerprint Scanner

This is a pretty sweet device, but it's hard to justify this price with these specs if you compare it directly to the Galaxy Note 3. Of course, for some folks, they either don't like Samsung or they are simply fans of HTC, so it becomes a non-issue. Still, do you guys think this device is worth $300 bones ON Contract?

I also read that it lack's the One's optical image stabilization on the camera. 'Tis a pity.
