Moto DVX Coming with Interchangeable Backplates; Cheaper Version of Moto X
The cheaper Moto X device called the Moto DVX is getting closer to reality. Not only has it passed through the FCC with a probable price tag of $200-$300 Off Contract, but we now have word that it will have interchangeable backplates with four initial colors to choose from (shown above). We also know that it will be heading to emerging markets globally and to several of the U.S. prepaid carriers like Republic Wireless.
Not much else is known about the device, like the internal specs or features. It isn't likely to be terribly exciting, but it is probably a smart move on the part of Motorola to build such a device for overall market penetration.
