I like how all the galaxy/note phones look... so I wont be surprised that the s4 or whatever they name it looks good
if the s2 was on Verizon I would've easily chose that over the bionic... im not a fan of the other samsung phones (galaxy nexus included)... charge... etc
why have different versions if they all come with an sd slot that supports up to 64 gigs?
agreed. Also, it's not just app installation. With each OS upgrade, Google is moving away from supporting external memory (Here Is Another Reason Google Continues To Shun SD Cards - Multiuser Support). So to be future proof, internal memory is the way to go. This isn't only about app data, it's media too. No native Google app supports SD. Google music stores all offline music in internal memory; there is no option for location.
.
I would like an SD Card slot for my next phone. I would like it because I would prefer that my pictures, music....all media be stored on the external card, and all system related functions like apps, and app data be stored on the internal memory (encrypted of course). That way when I root, or restore the device, I don't have to wipe my data.
Just noticed one more item that may seal it as a fake. Super AMOLED+! Many of you may say but the S2 was AMOLED+ and the NOTE2 employs RGB, but neither of these have the issue that caused the GNex and the S3 to lack the "+" and go Pentile; high pixel density! Both the Note 2 and the S2 are low density devices. Samsung could not produce the AMOLED+ with 300+ pixel density. Now all of a sudden they can achieve 400+ pixel density? I doubt it.
