Samsung Hosts Press Event to Showcase the New Galaxy Note II and Build Hype

Samsung kicked off their press event with the musical artist Kanye West on the hook to help build the hype. The event didn't really include any relevant new info. We were hoping for some official announcement for Verizon's launch, since they haven't shared the skinny on that yet. Unfortunately, it looks like Samsung didn't have any beans to spill on this subject. They basically passed the buck back to Verizon by indicating that it was up to Verizon to announce something.

Earlier we heard rumors that the Verizon GNote2 would be available for pre-order at midnight tonight. Perhaps we will get a more official stance from Big Red then. If we catch wind of anything tonight we will post it, otherwise, we'll let you guys know something tomorrow!
