Acer Unveils the 7-inch A110 tablet; Tegra 3, 8GB, and microSD card slot Oct 30 $229

Acer is trying hard to push into the inexpensive, yet high-value 7-inch Android tablet game. They just launched their newest creation: The 7-inch Iconia A110. It will hit store shelves on October 30th for just $229.99. This is $30 bucks above the current king of the lineup, the Google Nexus 7. What might justify this extra price difference? Here's a spec-breakdown to share that answer:
    • Tegra 3
    • 1GB RAM
    • 8GB internal storage
    • 7-inch 1024x600 display
    • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
    • Weighs in at 0.86 pounds and is less than .5 inches thick
    • Bluetooth 3.0
    • HDMI out via the dedicated microHDMI port
    • Standard MicroUSB 2.0 port
    • A microSD card slot

What do you guys think? Does that extra connectivity help elevate this tab to a worthy status?

    Here's the press release:

    Not with 1GB RAM and 1024 x 600 resolution. I won't consider any tablet with less than 1280 x 720.

Sorry, but any tablet regardless of screen size should have greater resolution than my phone. It is far too expen$ive with those specifications. I will definitely pass this one by.
