The above video is simply one of the older leaks of ICS for the Bionic, and is used as an example.
There was a rumor late last week that the Motorola Droid Bionic could be receiving its Ice Cream Sandwich update this week. It looked a bit sketchy as it was uncorroborated and didn't get picked up by bigger news organizations, so we didn't run with it at that time. We decided to wait for a bit, and although we still don't have any new information, we decided to share it with you now anyway. It is possible that this "rumint" will turn out to be true, so perhaps our Droid Bionic owners out there might have a reason to get excited. We have heard that Moto's plan was to get it out in August, so it is entirely possible.
More than likely what we might see is a first soak test for the update. The main reason for the hold up is that Motorola botched the ICS rollout for the Droid RAZR as they hadn't squashed all the bugs. This time, they want to make sure that things go more smoothly for the Bionic.
As always, we will keep you apprised as we find out more. Thanks to out tipsters, nri1998 and Shadez!
