I know root and recovery have been reached but I'm not dealing with a locked bootloader. The last Moto phone I had was the OG Droid and I won't buy another because of the bootloader.
I will be watching how this plays out. If the Dev's can unlock the bootloader I might stay but if not, it's bye bye Verizon for me.
And that my friends is why I won't buy a Motorola phone until they change, and why I purchased a GNex 3 weeks ago instead of waiting for this phone.
If VZW eff's with the GNex then I have no choice but to leave the network when it's time to upgrade.
how did they feel locking down the most wantted smartphone would go over? that no one would care, that devs would not notice?
I mean come on lol.
good job Verizon just throw more **** to turn away tons of people. last year we have.
-change in data plans
-line charge for switching phones
-did they raise the ETF?
-no more grandfather of unlimited data
and now lets top it all off with the bigest android phone to date having the only locked bootloder!(of its world wide counter parts)
