Official Date for the Google Nexus 7 May be July 23rd... in Canada

Although we know that the Google Nexus 7 is supposed to be released in the middle of July, that is still very vague. We may have a clue as to a solid launch date for the device though. According to a preorder ship date that showed up in a Canadian Staples web order, the Nexus tablet will ship for preorder customers on July 23rd.

Surprised you guys haven't posted the USA version of the "Staples" story that's been floating around.

Bottom line is for those who pre-ordered in the US, the tablet may ship next week and may even start arriving by Friday the 13th.

All rumor and speculation of course, but that's all we have!

honestly we haven't seen the USA Staples version of the story. We are only human and a small team afterall. Most of the time we have things covered, but occasionally a story will slip through the cracks.
