    ASUS Changes Up their Branding to 'Transformer Pad' Series & Adds New Infinity Series


    Asus is had some fun coming up with a new naming convention for their Transformer series. Any new Transformer products will be called Transformer Pads. This is likely a move to avoid anymore lawsuits regarding the robots that are "more than meets the eye." Regardless, they are also adding a new Infinity series lineup to their lineup.

    The TF700T that was exposed at CES earlier in the year will be part of the Infinity series. As reported previously, it has a 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, but something new has been revealed at MWC this year. This particular tablet will not come with the NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-core, because that processor doesn't play well with LTE. This new tablet will come with a new Qualcomm MSM 8960 Snapdragon S4 CPU instead. The WiFi versions will still come with the Tegra 3. Here's a press release with more details,
