Cue X-Files theme... backwards engineered alien technology and/or microsized power supply... That would be cool, but anything to "out of this world' will only raise eyebrows for MUFON and they would set loose the pitbulls to dig up the background of said technology. All technology companies are aware of implications of releasing questionable technology that has little accessible background on project born date. I am not a conspiracy theorist but believe we are not alone and our government feels it is in our best interest to protect us from ourselves, not an alien race with advanced technology.

Short of reverse engineering, it is probably something that has already been done but made better/smaller.
