***when i got home i switched to wifi and then the update was available to me.

12-15-2011 12:29 PMI am still getting that same message. It isn't saying "Your device is up to date! No update is necessary at this time." It is saying "Check for update is not available" ....this is getting frustrating.

This phone is barely faster than my droid x was. 4 g is not 10 times faster like they claim. the upd
ate made the slow ass camera better but my wifes droid charge still takes better pictures.lets face it we got screwed on this phone especially with motorola knowing the razor was coming so soon with much better specs. i had a thunderbolt outclock me. this is my last motorola. cant wait to dump this piece of crap. -

12-15-2011 09:49 PMMy 4G is 20 times faster than 3G...that is when i get a connection. 3G = 0.9mbs and 4G = 19.5 mbs. Both download.

If you're rooted and have the cheesecake app, you can change to a different server and get the update. I was getting the same system up to date until I changed the server with that app and currently downloading the update after switching servers.
