Motorola Droid RAZR and MotoActv Launch Recap

The Motorola announcement was just made, and we got the press release in our hands as you saw earlier. Motorola announced the Droid RAZR and the new MotoActv device. These devices certainly look amazing and could reinvigorate the market for the original Droid creators Motorola. Here is a recap of the Motorola Droid RAZR and MotoActv launch:

Note: Be sure to check out the Droid RAZR forum here: Droid RAZR

Funny that it seems like the RAZR could be the hot phone of the winter months and not the Nexus.

The phone definitely looks the part. Love the carbon fiber backing and thin-ness of the phone, though very similar to the Droid X line. Would love to compare the displays back to back vs. the Bionic.

Ironic that I replaced my old RAZR v3c with the OG Droid now I'm starting to consider the Droid RAZR as my next phone. So far I'm more impressed with this new RAZR than I was with the Droid 3 or the Bionic. Unfortunately I'm broke so I probably won't be able to upgrade my OG Droid.

    Lol same here.

I missed out on the Bionic by choice as I decided my money was better spent elsewhere, but I think this phone should be coming out just in time for some extra funds to be available, and as Peter Griffin from Family Guy would say, this thing looks friggin' sweet!

One thing though, and I might be nitpicking, but I wonder why they aren't choosing to integrate the buttons into the OS as opposed to having capacitive buttons. I'd like the ability to customize those capacitive buttons and arrange them how I want them (the order they're in on the Droid).

Is the "1800 mAh Extended Battery" the default battery it comes with, or is that referring to an actual user-replaceable extended battery? Makes me wonder what the non-extended standard battery size is.
