[Rumor] LG Enlighten for Verizon Reveals some New Pics; May Be Coming Aug 25

If you are a Sprint, US Cellular, Cellular South, or Verizon user in need of an entry level phone with slide-out QWERTY keyboard, then August 25th is a date you may want to pencil on your schedule. Supposedly, LG will be releasing the XX700 (VS700 on VZW) phone as the "LG Enlighten", and it will have their new Gelato Q QWERTY sliding keyboard. Its other specs are a bit humble, but should definitely get the job done for some folks, perhaps your kids or spouse. Here they are:

• Gingerbread-powered
• 800MHz processor
• 3.2-inch HVGA display
• 3.2-megapixel without flash
• 2GB microSD card

Of course, here are some pics of the phone to go along with the report. Not a bad looking budget phone... What do you guys think?
