FYI if you don't have a Staples near you but you have an Office Depot, you can try using the coupon there. Their price match policy takes competitor coupons (especially Staples) and I had no problem getting a Transformer for $299 yesterday. However, other people have said they are getting turned down, so it's really just depends on your local store and if they feel like taking the coupon or not. For $100 is definitely worth the try at least!

I really want to jump on this deal too, but I don't know if I like the idea of buying a tablet now that will have equivalent or worse internal hardware than the phone upgrade I'll be getting in november/december.

I think this is a killer deal, and would jump on it if I had spare money sitting around. I would get the Galaxy tab 10.1 for sure. The reason I bought the Thunderbolt was partially to hold me off until tab prices drop or until specs are even better.

I work at staples as their Resident Tech, and sure enough all you need is to print out that coupon. They have no problem, they should be more than happy to sell you a tablet ESPECIALLY if you buy a protection plan (which if you root or brick or just mess it up, you can call and they will refund your money via a cash card (if you get the accidental protection plan) but they should have no reason denying you that coupon because it is legit.

oh I know why, its b/c I'm a gadget freak. I was really thinking about getting a Nook Color to root and play around with. That was until my gf's mom got the Acer Iconia Tab A500 about a month ago. After playing w/ that I completely forgot about the Nook Color and have been eyeing the HoneyComb tablets.

now I just need to convince my gf that WE need a tablet...maybe something like "you know its just not good for your eyes to be focusing on such a small screen, I think a nice 10.1" screen would ease the stress on your eyes. See I'm looking out for you. What do you mean I just want another toy?!?! Ok well maybe I do."
