your right. That would probably do it I'm still stuck on Froyo 2.2.1 Do you know where I can find that

Um, there should be one with it, it's pretty straight forward, the actual application runs you through it step by step.

I hate to clog this thread with my troubles but I tried installing the RUU and got a USB connection error. It seems the PC I'm using doesn't want to install and recognize my phone on the computer. Now I haven't used a PC in years so I'm a bit rusty as to how to fix this. I ran the installation wizard and it failed to install.

I had that problem. Just walk through it a few times it'll eventually click and work out. :-)

Well I am on Liberty GB and it does force into landscape with video calls. I can receive video, but when it tries to send video, even after selecting the back camera all it sends is a blank screen and the person at the other end gets the spinning circle.

On Rooted, Liberty GB on Droid X here.
