Customize the status bar on non-source rom

I wrote a shell script that can change clock, notification and progress bar colors and also the carrier message on the locksreen and pulldown bar. The script is meant to be used on FRG22B and I'm quite not sure how it will respond to other ROM's/versions so use it at your own risk. If there is a good response to this I can make it into an app version.

    DOWNLOAD UPDATE.ZIP

    Install Instructions:

    1. Download the update package
    2. Rename to update.zip
    3. Reboot into recovery mode
    4. Select apply update package
    5. Reboot and type statusbar in terminal

Everything seemed to work ok....but.....nothing shows in my nothification bar when I pull down. I did not alter any colors in in or anything. any suggestions? The message I put to replace "verizon wireless" does show, except a very faint grey. Thanks!

Actually Jared, I think the notifications are in the dropdown, just not visible. No matter what color you make the text, the box is grey and the text or pictures are not visible.

Ok. I went back and did a restore. I then reinstalled, and only edited the Verizon Wireless text, not any colors, and it works fine. Whatever happened must have been a result of editing the notification text. Thanks!

This worked perfectly for me, I'm running UD 1.0.0. Ony changed the carrier text so far, probably play around with other stuff later.

I'm running lithium mod. After the restore I just changed the carrier text as well, and it went smoothly. I think changing the notification text is what started the problems. Let me know how it goes. Maybe I'll nerve up to another attempt later.
