Still looking for reasons to root my phone. I can live without the tethering, the overclock is tempting, but anything else I could do to make it worthwhile?
I have root, and whenever i try to do anything in the terminal and get to the point to mount for read-write:
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
the cursor moves to the next line and says:
usage: mount [-r] [-w] [-o option] [-t type] device directory
so it thinks i am using the mount cmd incorrectly but i dont see what im doing wrong help
The only way I can see the mount command returning with that error is if you have the wrong number of arguments - either by having the -o section with a space in the middle or having no space (or an extra space) in the device node or mountpoint.
I just flashed my phone with the Smoked Glass Rom with Wi-Fi Tethering. It still had those four applications so I went to remove them but everytime I type in the 'mv app.apk app.bak', it says that the file doesn't exist. What's the problem?
