Market Problem - Can't see purchased apps

I have been running a rooted FRG22 on my D1 for a few weeks now.

I have a problem with the Market, where I can't see certain apps that I have paid for. But, I can see some of the apps I bought.

I have isolated it down to this: If the purchased app normally ends up in the /data/app-private directory, I can't see it in the Market.

Apps I am having this problem with include: Tapatalk Pro, NoteEverything Pro, FlightTrack Pro.

Hmmm .... After looking at the list of affected program names, maybe the problem is: The Market is blocking any apps the have the word "Pro" in it!

Now that I got that out of my system, does anybody know what the REAL problem is?

    Thanks,

    AzJazz

It's your build, FRG22 isn't recognized as an official build for the Droid. FRG01B will show those apps.

Easiest method is to modify your build.prop in /system to match that of a FRG01B build.prop.

    Thanks, tcrews!

Do I only need to change all instances of "FRG22" to "FRG01B" to take care of this, or is it more complicated than that?

It's more complicated but not a lot...

You need the build id, build display, build version incremental, , build date utc and then match those down in build.description and build.fingerprint.

Easiest is to look at the build.prop from an FRG01B rom (it's under system) to match what you need to change.

Cool. I'll load an old BBv0.4, and copy build.prop over for comparison.

I'll let you know how it goes!

    Ooops. BBv0.4 is ESE84-based.

I'll need to find another build.prop that's based on FRG01B.

    Thanks, tcrews!

I found a good build.prop, and I can see my paid Market apps now. Mine was based off the stock odexed & rooted FRG22, updated from the CM6_RC2 Market Fix. I am attaching it to this message for anyone else that used the stock FRG22 version.

    Cheers,
