Why is my app-private folder empty after I've rooted my droid running the android 2.2 update with easyroot?
Do you have any paid apps missing that should be there?

no, there are no missing applications. I can run all paid apps but I cannot access paid applications. All free downloaded market apps and apps transferred via .apk from my computer are in /data/app but my /data/app-private should contain any paid apps but the folder is empty, my permissions are all checked off, and titanium backup IS able to backup my paid apps so they are obviously located somewhere on the system so I believe this folder is being hidden but I have it checked off in root explorer to show hidden files/folders.
Is app-private not where paid apps are stored on a droid 1 running the official 2.2 update?
