Thread: Wanting to root. But wheres the one click root for droid to make it easier?

    I'm a firm believe that if you want to root then you need to do it yourself! Admittedly, the Droidmod process will do the work for you. Additionally, I prefer SPRecovery over Rom Manager/ClockWork. SPRecovery has always preformed as stated. I can not sam the same for RM/CW

    My sense is that if you take the time to learn the processes then do the root yourself then when you have a problem you will be able to figure out the solutions for restoring your phone.

    Completely agree with you. Knowing what you are actually doing will definitely help in the long run. And I second the SP, CW and Rom manager have failed on numerous attempts. Then again, it was probably just the user..

    do i need to back up my phone before i root? I'm a little nervous about doing not quite sure how to is there a step by step guide?
