Mistake or are you on the wrong site?

The mac program for pdanet is only for the iphone. To tether with an android device on a mac you have to use bluetooth DUN.

Smile Can someone walk me through the steps?

Ok--I'm a bluetooth ignoramus. I used my bluetooth earpiece for my old LG phone and that's about it. I have since bought the Droid and I cancelled my Verizon Broadband account for my laptop. I"m delighted to see that I can still use the laptop over the Verizon network with PDAnet. However, since I'm a mac user I see that I have to do this via bluetooth. I am using a G4 Powerbook running Tiger (OS 10.4.11). Can one of you kind souls walk me through how to set this up on the mac and the Droid? I found PDAnet in the marketplace but I haven't downloaded it to the Droid yet.

    Many thanks!

FIgured out why i cant get it to work. I cant turn on blue tooth on the droid for someone reason. I tried system settings and the power widget. When i turn on the blue tooth it was turning on blue tooth and then just goes back to the turn on blue tooth unchecked box again. Anyone else having this problem?

Hard resetting the phone solved the bluetooth problem. I have it paired with the mac using the above php. Only problem now is my mac won't connect to it. It sees it with blue tooth but won't connect.
