What about being paid and Not doing your job?

Sounds like stealing from your employer.

And since he feels guilty, he knows he's wrong.
im at work right now...my job gets done and I screw around with my phone in my free time. I see nothing wrong with that
Same here, but I'm the Boss....So I do as I please. Now those that work for me...Doing anything personal on company time is a fire-able offense, They have signed a company policy stating so.
A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

Using tether would be against T&C's, installing it wouldn't...

I'd hate to work for you lol. I own several businesses and I don't care what the employees do as long as they get their work done. If they're neglecting their duties and just goofing off then yes, fire em. But if they did all that I asked, and absolutely nothing is happening, I'm not a proponent of "pretend you're doing something to look busy"...that's more counter productive then actually doing something with your free time...

So you're saying that you would fire someone who did this for a customer?

If a company has free time to give to you then they don't sound very efficient. I remember back in high school when I worked in a restaurant as a dishwasher. The dishes were all clean and some of us were talking. The boss came in and said a line I'll never forget: "If you have time to lean...you have time to clean." and then put us to work. I can see sales being different when a crew is there waiting for the crowds to show up but at most places of employment the powers that be would rather see you working than not. The slackers tend to be the first to go or get passed by for promotions.

to answer the op's question: I'd say doing non-work activities at work is generally a bad idea. You feeling guilty or not doesn't come into play as that's something you get to deal with, not for us to judge you on.

I also don't think I'd go posting on the internet that I wasn't working at work, and naming the company I work at either...if I was in that situation. Those are the tidbits you read about on Digg
    Chris

If you apply a rom or theme - backup first!
If you don't know how to backup...Stop until you do.
hint: I name my backups like this: sg6.0_20100428 or ss4.2_20100626 to easily find them later. rom and date.

That Makes sense, But VZW has to cover themselves in every aspect. From Legal with Moto, to Honoring what you sign...... they see it as a potential risk. Not only that... the Money gained in a year from a 5GB EVDO Access is another 29.99 on top of your 29.99 for The data on your phone... the Warranty replacements are Refurbs and smartphone have a max cost of 409.10. 24 months of limited VS 24 months of Unlimited, Dual Baseband Awesomness... they want those $$. Thats what i gather nontheless.
"pffft.....Who is going to want to play a game about a guy fighting monsters from hell on the moon?"

    Pretty much so...
