Or, bugless beast isn't as bugless as it claims to be. Not sayin it's not good, but it's in no way bugless.
If you don't wipe your phone before installation, you try to restore system data from titanium after coming from cyanogen or some other rom, or you use an incompatible kernal then you will definately experience the things you mentioned. But that's not the fault of the rom.
BB 1.0 and 1.1 have been very stable for me, more available memory than I've ever had (pretty much always above 90mb, probably most times above 100). Not taking anything away from any of the other previously mentioned roms, I'e never used them. Just add me to the list of people that haven't had any issues with the new BB.
edit: as far as temps, mine runs pretty consistently at 89°F, at idle and moderate use @ 800Mhz

Bugless Beast 0.4
1.25Ghz kernel running at 700Mhz
If my spelling is terrible, its beacause I'm typing from my droid
It's just rediculous for you to say that it must be something I did wrong. Lol. I've been flashing roms since the droid was rooted. There are a lot of stupid people out there, but that doesn't mean you should assume everyone is dumb before you send solutions out there. We didn't wipe our phone right, it must be the kernel, titanium backup is the culprit. Lol. Or like I said maybe the rom just doesn't play nice with every phone. Just so you know, I'm not a fanyboy of any rom or dev, it drives me crazy when fanboys (not saying you are) claim things that are true. I'm happily running my own custom rom, that I made, because it works great on my phone. To reiterate, BB is nice and has great features but IMO it is not stable. I get the same speed, or better on a slightly modded stock deodexed rom then I have with BB or any other rom.
I have used BB.9, BB1.0, BB1.1 and I really like Pete's work. I did have some very minor bugs with his BB and it has improved quite a bit.
I installed Cyanogen 18.104.22.168 and I can really say that I am impressed. I used Bekits 1gz kernal, and some of jrummys scripts and got it just the way I want it. One of my favorite feature is the 360 rotation, Love being able to hold my phone anyway I feel like it. Cyanogen seems to be more customizable. Im gonna stick with Cyanogen for now, waiting on Froyo for my Droid
joined AA (android anonymous). Turns out the program feeds my addiction rather than squelch it. I dont mind though
OG Droid, Droid 2, Droid X, Droid Incredible, HTC Thunderbolt, and Now The Android Phone, The Galaxy Nexus
There are tons of fanboys here of one rom or another that lie about how a certain rom is bad in-order to promote another rom. I have no idea why they do it but they do.
You can't take a rom that is proven stable that thousands of people have used and then claim that it's not stable. If it's not stable on YOUR phone then state that but you can't try to make it out like the rom in general causes all kind of FC's and reboots. 99% of the time the time the symptons you described are the users fault. The rom works fine.

I'm not trying to flame you here man but it's impossible to get unbiased and fair reviews of the many roms out there. Either everyone is being too nice and don't want to be too critical or people are blatant fanboys and make up things about one rom in-order to praise another.
I was simply correcting incorrect statements so people wouldn't be mislead. I'm no fan of BB but it's a very stable rom assuming you don't screw up the installation. It's a barebones basic rom, if you can't get it to run without constant FC's then you're doing it wrong...
