Hey, I need to remove root access on my phone. I know there are probably many threads on this, but I cant find them, so if someone could either tell me or point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it. thanks.

Here you go, worked like a charm for me:

Make sure you follow every step including installation of drivers. I had to use RSD lite 4.6 in order to get it to work, older versions did not work for me. Otherwise it's quite easy!

It definitely is, dont let the giant warning scare you. As long as the cable is connected throughout the process youll be fine.

Sorry to jack thread But if you unroot, would I go to 2.0.1 or 2.1 if I bought my phone originally when 2.0.1 was the cool thing to have? Lately my phone has been lagging and for some reason not waking up from sleep, so I think when BB V1.0 comes out I'm going to restore back to stock then redo everything.

If you unroot using the SBF file it makes youre phone like the day you got it, with the exception of all your stuff still being present on the SDcard.
