Stock ROM, Kernel and Baseband Versions?

    I rooted...had a blast...it's over for now.

I went back to stock but I'm not sure I'm really stock now. Can anyone tell me what the ROM, Kernel and Baseband versions should be on a totally stock Droid?

Only reason I ask is I am still getting some choppiness in some of the apps. I'm thinking I left some remnants. Rom Manager says I am ready to install ROMs. DM Update says I am not rooted. One of them has to be wrong. Is there a bootloader that Rom Manager can work with that DM Updater can't?

    Thanks,

    Nate

ERD56 is the ROM, baseband should be C_01.3E.03P, and the kernel should say some stuff then release keys at the end.

Im currently on bugless beast v9 and my baseband says vC_01.3E.01P. Is that ok or do i need to update to the last baseband? Im not sure what the baseband does and how it affects my phone. I just want to make sure everything is up to date.

Sweet! Thanks for the screen shot. I had a different kernel. I guess it was more than just a remnant. My settings match yours now though. That is from a phone that was never rooted, right?

So I have the same radio baseband version budmonster posted. Is there a method to update just the radio? Or is it best left alone? I had some trouble getting 3g when I was running Cyanogen and wonder if that was the culprit.

Hard to say, I don't know the answer as to whether the baseband would help.

Thats not my phone, but is the stock info/kernel. While it could be rooted, that in itself doesn't change the information listed.

The .01P baseband is the current version. When 2.1 goes OTA, the baseband will be upgraded to .03P

You are fine with the baseband as that is what 2.0.1 comes with.

There is a thread over at all droid in the development section of droid that goes over how to flash the newer base band. Not many were successful flashing it though. There is a significant risk off bricking your phone. I was able to flash it luckily..Good luck
