I have a theory
I have a theory when it comes to metamorph themes and the battery. Every metamorph theme has the battery is increments of 20. I argue that the phone will recognize increments of 10.
When you plug in your phone don't you see it at 30% or 50% or 70%
So how does the phone recognize that it is at those increments of 10?
Maybe someone could create a theme with a battery icon adding all the increments of 10, and see what that does. Let me know your thoughts
The phone does recognize battery level in 10% increments. Many battery widgets you can install read in 10% increments. Unfortunately, the programming in the framework-res only looks at it in 20% increments.
Adding the extra icons would do no good, as the software would not activate them. You'd have to change the programming to make the software light up the icons in 10% increments.
Koush's CyanogenMod ROM views the battery in increments of 10...so I know its possible.
that is compiled from custom source code is why
