ya open up the superuser app and see what permissions are there. Clear the permissions then open up root explorer again.

Sounds like you lost root access, which was a side effect of the live wallpapers 1.0 installation. At least I assume that is what happened. Try opening up Terminal Emulator and type "su" without quotes and see what happens. Does the $ change into a # ?

This was the fix for losing SU posted on alldroid.org, note that this was a temporary fix and not recommended, or it looks like the LiveWallpapers.zip was updated with a fix to this as well.

    9. EDIT (xeudoxus) **This was a temp fix and is not recommended**

If you are having SU and superuser permissions issues:

    1. Download Xeudoxus's updated su file (attached below)
    2. Unzip and place the su file on your desktop
    3. Reboot your droid into the recovery console (You got permission issues right )
    4. Go to mount options and mount your system partition
    5. Start your terminal/CMD prompt
    6. For windows, type:

    Code:
    cd /d %USERPROFILE%/Desktop

    7. For Linux, type:

    Code:
    cd Desktop

    8. Type:

    Code:
    adb push su /system/bin

    9. Unmount your system partition then reboot your droid
    10. Once rebooted, open your terminal/CMD prompt

    Code:
    adb shell
    su
    mount -o remount,re -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
    chmod 4755 /system/bin/su
    sync
    reboot

Thank you guys for your replys/help. I felt my phn real sluggish since I installed the Live Wallpapers so last night I backed up my apps and Nandroid restored AdamZ 4.5 and now the phone is running a lot smoother and root explorer is working. Does anyone have live wallpapers on 2.0.1 running steady w/no noticeable side effects? Or maybe the fix someone was speaking of is more stable

Livewallpapers are working fine on mine no sluggishness that ive noticed so far. But I seem to be a minority. Took a while to get working right. I thought my wife was going to kill me since I spent a good part of my day off fooling around with it.

Edit: Just used the benchmark in set cpu. got 168ms running a lot of widgets and gde and live wallpapers running.
