    Going from Rom to Rom

I had sholes installed because i needed the files. then i just did a restore w/ boot and system checked w/ smoked glass v4. It is very choppy and buggy.

Is there a method to go from ROM to ROM?

Also, I was reading what came w/ the smoked glass v4. When i went from sholes to smoked glass, i dont think it got everything thatwas supposed to come w/ smoked glass(i.e. facebook widget, overclocking, etc).

I ended up overclocking using setcpu to 900mhz.

What am I doing wrong here guys?

Thanks again, you all are a big help!

As long as you go from and to the same firmware version/ROM (i.e. 2.0.1 or 2.1) than you can just use the update method. If you go from one firmware version to the other than you'll need to use the nandroid method (i.e. completely wipe all data, clear cache ect.).
Pete's BB ROM has good instructions:

You are right to be wary. There is much bullcrap. Be wary of me too, because I may be wrong. Make up your own mind after you evaluate all the evidence and the logic. - Mark Rippetoe
