Sorry for not specifying. It boots up to the Dual Core Moto, then to the splash screen. After it goes to splash screen nothing happens. SafeStrap says that MavROM successfully installed. Could it be that I'm using SafeStrap v1.08?

nope. dont think so. how long are you waiting? i think after the first initial install it took a couple of minutes before the boot animation started. -- have you tried pulling the battery and then booting?

Also, when you get the boot menu screen, does it say safe system enabled at the top?

After the install, I go back and click "reboot system." Yes, safe system is enabled. I've pulled the battery several times, to go back to the recovery. I think it took about 15 minutes of black screen for me to realize something was wrong. I went off and watched part of a movie before I came back. I'm going to try reinstalling the zip again. Does it matter what the zip is called?

Nevermind, I found my problem! I had the ROM on my external SD card, not my internal one. I'm using MavROM right now! Thank you so much, vbhokiefan! Love the ROM.

Wow, nevermind. I really suck with Rims still. I installed the ROM with like a 46% battery, and now it seems that I can't change the theme. I'm not a huge fan of the current one... so yeah. Help? :P

Well, you got MavROM up and running. Congrats.

Now to install a different theme, just go to the MavROM Toolbox, select clear downloads (just to get rid of any temp stuff) and then go to themes tab. Find the one you want and choose install theme. It should download the theme, apply it and reboot. Once back up you should have the new theme. If you don't follow these steps again in a little bit, to make sure there wasn't a communication issue with the server.

Right again. Everything's splendid! Thank you so much for your help!

Also, I'm trying to convince my friend to root his D3 and get MavROM, but he's quite paranoid about it. What else do you think I should say that would convince him that a rooted phone is better than a nonrooted?

He decided to get Hashcode's CM9 mod. I tried it out, but I'm just lucky enough to stumble across ALL of it's problems. :P

Any who, in the main screenshot for MavROM 3.5, there the launcher bar is like that of ICS. How do I get that? It's not the Launcher2 in the Toolbox, it's not in the ICS theme, and I don't want to download the Go Launcher. Is there another way, or do I have to do it that way?
